I love Cream of Wheat so I experimented with Flax seeds and came up with my new recipe called Flax Cream of Wheat. I found out flax seeds are packed with Omega 3 fatty acid and fiber. They say that stuff is good for you. Is it good for a monkey, I don’t know? All I know is I sure like my Cream of Wheat recipe. The ground flax seeds give it a nutty taste and I like that. I also put in a little Smart Balance margarine made with flax oil to give it a buttery taste. I also put in some brown sugar. Cindy says I have a sweet tooth. I don’t know what she is talking about. Non of my teeth taste sweet.

When I went to Alaska with Cindy and Mike, I saw Sarah Palin’s Governor’s Mansion in Juneau, Alaska. We had no idea Sarah Palin would be chosen to be John McCain’s running mate when we took this picture. I remember the tour guide said that the governor was a women with 5 children. We also walked past the Red Dog Saloon. I was not allowed in because I am under age. Little did they know I looked in the door. What a mess. There was saw dust all over the place. They must have termites there.

We are staying at the Pelican RV park in Half Moon Bay, San Francisco. We walked to the beach and up on the cliff where there is a resort and golf course over looking the beach and ocean. This flower I picked for Beth.

I did not know what a train was until yesterday. I had fun riding on the train. We boarded it in Ely, Nevada. It went past a silver mine. They also mine copper and gold in Ely.

We also went rock hounding for Garnets. I got a real nice garnet, but it is still in the rock. I do not know how to get it out.

Day before yesterday we went to Lehman Cave. Wow, I did not know there were holes in the grown with out lizards in them. That cave was beautiful. Today we saw petroglyphs the Indians made. I think the one behind me is a picture of a bull, what ever that is? The last picture is me hanging out in a coal oven. It is a huge rock oven that was uses to make coal. Boy am I tired.

Today was my second day in Yellowstone National Park. I saw geysers, a petrified tree, waterfalls and strange landscapes.

Now that is a real black bear!

I am so excited. I saw things I have never seen before like Old Faithful Geyser, beautiful steaming ponds and bright colors. Can you see me smiling?

I saw a bison (Buffalo) up close, elk from the car and I got to sit on a black bear. Okay, Okay, the bear is not real, but I am still smiling.

We spend a couple of days visiting Cindy’s friend in Washington. Then we drove to Spokane. They have a river that runs right through downtown. It has some rapids and water falls. It was beautiful and I had a great time until I saw that eagle down there. I started to run back to the car. Cindy ran after me and picked me up. I know eagles can pick up small animals and I am a small animal.
